FCSAmerica directors uphold these values through Standards of Conduct Policies, which define expected actions and behavior. All directors and employees are expected to conduct their official duties in a professional manner, and avoid conflicts of interest, real or apparent, and the appearance of impropriety with directors, employees, customers and others that conduct business with Farm Credit Services of America. This commitment starts with our board of directors. Our directors are proactive and focused on strategic and operational excellence that aligns with the best interests of our member-customers.
The board of directors is responsible for overseeing and interacting with senior leadership. Through their experience and knowledge, they exercise sound judgment on key aspects of our business including strategic planning, leadership development and succession, operating performance, compliance and stockholder value.
We continually review corporate governance guidelines to ensure they align with the financial services industry best practices. In fact, as a privately held cooperative, Farm Credit Services of America’s board has proactively implemented changes to its structure and business practices to align with financial industry standards. Robert Bruxvoort New Sharon, IA
Bruxvoort operates a family farm producing corn and soybeans along with a farrow-to-finish hog operation. He was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2008. |

Thomas Clausen Armstrong, IA
Clausen has a cow/calf operation, and raises alfalfa, corn and soybeans. He has served as a director or advisor for the Association since 1978 and was elected to his current Board position in 1998. |

Margaret Doyle Waukee, IA
Doyle owns a private financial consulting firm: Lacey Doyle LLC. She was appointed to the Board in 2006.

Jo A. (Jody) Good Red Oak, IA
Good grows corn and soybeans. She is also a certified public accountant working for a public accounting firm. She was elected to the Board in 1991. |

Richard Hall - Chairman Massena, IA
Hall is General Manager of the Southwest Iowa Egg Cooperative, a layer hen cooperative, and he operates a small cow/calf herd. He was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2007 |

Lynn Harrell Miller, SD
Harrell farms in partnership with his brother. They raise corn, soybeans, sunflowers, millet and wheat and they have a feeder cattle background operation. He was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2006. |

Jeremy Heitmann Byron, NE
Heitmann farms with his family. They raise corn, soybeans, and wheat and run a feeder to finish cattle operation. He was appointed to the Board to bring a young and beginning producer perspective to the leadership at FCSAmerica, his four-year term began January 1, 2008. |

Nick Hunt Atlantic, IA
Hunt owns and operates a farm. He grows corn, soybeans, alfalfa and has cow/calf and cattle feeding operation. He was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2007 |

Larry Paulsen Coleridge, NE
Paulsen owns and operates a diversified operation including corn, soybeans, hogs and cattle. He was elected to the Board in 2005. |

Randy Peters - Executive Committee Member McCook, NE
Peters and his family raise wheat, corn, soybean, sunflower, certified seed wheat and cow/calf operation. He was elected to the board in 2003. |

John Reisch Howard, SD
Reisch is a farmer and cattle feeder. As a partner of Reisch Farms, Inc., he raises corn, wheat, soybeans, alfalfa and cattle. He was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2008.

Rowe produces corn, soybeans, popcorn and wheat on his family farm in south central Nebraska. He was elected to the Board in 2001. |

Schwitters is the vice president of Nelson Equity Development, LC. He was appointed to the Board in 1998. |

Kim Vanneman Ideal, SD Vanneman operates a farm and ranch operation. Farming involves raising a variety of crops, feeder pigs and commercial beef as well as a cow/calf operation. She is a member of the South Dakota State Legislature representing District 26B and a part-time real estate appraiser. She was elected to the Board effective January 1, 2007 |
